臨床研究の結果のまとめや、時間内の発表の準備など色々大変です。脂肪幹細胞分泌蛋白を20分、濃縮脂肪CRFとSVFを20分で発表せねばならなくどの様な点を強調するのか非常に大変です。

Title of Your Presentation: Hair and Skin Regenerative Therapy using Adipose-Derived Stem Cell (ADSC) Condition Medium

Synopsis: (no more than 100-200 words)

Regenerative therapy using stem cells will be a major theme in clinical treatment in the coming years. We have performed skin and hair regenerative therapy using the proteins secreted from adult ADSCs and obtained good results.

We combined coenzyme Q10, and vitamins B, H, C, and E with ADSC proteins to develop a novel therapy known as Hair Re-generative (HARG®) therapy for hair growth treatment same as skin rejuvenation technique. To obtain stem cell proteins, ADSCs were grown in complete media for 2 weeks under hypoxic culture conditions. Then, we applied the combination of those substances in mesotherapy (Nappage and Papule injections) using ADSCs secret proteins that were absent of bacterial or viral infections (advance adipose-derived stem cell protein extract; AAPE, Seoul, Korea).

We have completed an analysis of the results after completion of two treatment courses within about 3 months, obtaining good results (Wilcoxon, P<0.01).

Skin changes were observed with a microscope and imaged with VISIA (Canfield Imaging System, NJ, USA).

ADSCs secret cytokines such as KGF, VEGF, PDGF, HGF, and Wint-inducible factor. Those cytokines and growth factor are very important role of hair growth. The applications of those proteins induce the wound healing reaction on the skin.

Regenerative therapy using stem cells will be a major theme in clinical treatment in the coming years. Various types of stem cells have come to be actively used together as the result of recent progress in regenerative medicine.

Using LIPOMAX-SC, Centrifugation and incubator, (Medikahn, Seoul, Korea), adipocytes were aspirated into a syringe from the patient’s own abdomen or thigh without contacting air. The aspirated tissue was centrifuged to separate erythrocytes and water, adipocytes, and oil. The wet and oily components were discarded; condensed rich fat (CRF) was removed and injected into the facial region of the patients. After 3–6 months, the patient’s own CRF that had been cryopreserved was injected in one side of the face and the left and right sides were compared.

Imaging was done with Vectra (Canfield Imaging System, NJ, USA) to confirm the increase or decrease in the injected fat graft. Skin changes were observed with a microscope and imaged with VISIA (Canfield Imaging System). Changes in skin quality and skin spots were seen.

When the graft survival rate of the adipose tissue rises, various cytokines are released from stem cells simultaneously. These cytokines are predicted to stimulate angiogenesis and differentiation of surrounding cells.
